200 miles, 10 days, 44 people, 30 games of hockey.

On May 26th 2017, the Hockey4Heroes team embarked on their most epic challenge. They carried an injured former Royal Marine 200 miles from Cardiff to London, stopping off at 10 hockey clubs on route to play 3 games a day. It all began in Cardiff and finished in Marlow on Sunday 4th June.

As an charity ambassador and dedicated extreme hockey dribbler, I dribbled a hockey ball for the duration, 200 miles behind the stretcher.

A great cause, £63,000 raised for Help for Heroes.

In 2019, a joint hockey4heroes and Lincoln Minster School group travelled to Nepal to embark on a challenge to enter The Guinness book of records for the highest game of hockey at 5200m at Thorong La, high in the Annapurna Range in The Himalayas. I dribbled a hockey ball all the way up to the site of the game. On way down, the chance to visit some Nepalese schools to introduce them to hockey and leave some hockey equipment. It was an incredible trip, Nepal is an amazing country, memories for life and a place in the Guinness book of records.
